Yān Yún Jí
A Ritual of Hand-Drawn Stillness.
Yān Yún Jí does not arrive finished. It arrives as an unfinished field — a tray, a rake, and a formula that has not yet been given form. The alignment is performed by your hand, not ours.
Decant the formula into the tray. Take the rake and draw the ripples yourself: slow, repeated passes that resolve into nothing in particular. This is not decoration. It is the quiet interval in which the overloaded hand goes still.
Then ignite it. The pattern you drew softens, releases, and dissolves — a geometric departure recorded in smoke and returned to the room as warmth.
Stillness is the procedure. Pleasure is the result.
Protocol — 01 Decant · 02 Rake · 03 Ignite. Apparatus (tray and rake) included.
